How do I get Ancient Elonian Keys? - Guild Wars Forums

Forgive me if this question has been posted before, tried searching but no luck.

Has anyone managed to come across a seller for these keys or have seen one drop? Or are we waiting on something else via an update?

Every Desolation merchant sells them except for the ones at Ruins of Morah and the Mouth of Torment. Additionally Basalt Grotto has them available.

I know Lair of the Forgotten also doesn't sell them (at least I'm pretty sure) but ya, most of the merchants do sell them.

After you get to several towns well into the main continent then you will be able to buy the Ancient Elonian keys. these are the towns where the ancient Elonian keys can be gotten: Basalt Grotto, Remains of Sahlahja, Gates of Desolation, and the Bone Palace. The Margonite keys can be gotten in 2 places: Lair of the Forgotten and the Crystal Overlook. Also within the Crystal Overlook there is a warp that will take you to the Arid Sea in Tyria.

Also I believe you can trade Ancient Artifacts (collector's item) for these keys at the Gates of Desolation mission outpost.
